The Trailer for Tanja Tetzlaff’s project, Suites for a Suffering World, forms an introduction to her overall project as Glenn Gould Bach Fellow 2021-23. Recording and Filming the Cello in a natural environment in a way that captured both instrument and natural environment alike, presented an interesting technical challenge for the production team – but after a series of innovative, exploratory tests, the film was completed near Berlin in late 2021.
