Tanja Tetzlaff’s project – Suites for a Suffering World – was completed in 2023 as the culmination of her Glenn Gould Bach Fellowship (2021-23). The project draws upon the contrast between the protected world of heritage and the unprotected, often ravaged world of the natural environment. Filmed in dramatic locations, it seeks to raise awareness around the issue of Climate Change, whilst exploring attitudes to culture and environment, and the lessons we can draw from one whilst applying to the other.
